#393: Golden Gate Transit Buses Exhaust

My commute to work now has me often behind these buses on my bike going both ways.  There is something about the exhaust that is very unpleasant.  It's like they tried to make the exhaust cleaner, but it's actually worse smelling to me than regular exhaust and I constantly get a big whiff of it when behind one, which is almost every day.  Severity: 3

#392: Insurance Commercial Savings Claims

Scam insurance commercials that state "On average customers save $480 when switching to xxx".  The scam is that people only switch (most of the time) when they CAN save so it's not like you will save that much.  But they are implying that the average person could save that much when they switch when it is not true and I don't think most people read the fine print that states that the statistic is based on only people that switch.  Severity: 1

#391: People Taking Pictures at Sporting Events

Unless it's some really good action photo where you are very close to the field of play, people taking shots of the players from afar baffle me in that I don't know why they think that picture will be of interest to themselves or anyone else ever.  It's not like you are showing some mysterious game to a native tribe that has never seen the sport played before.  But people love playing with their gadgets and not focusing on the actual enjoyment of the sport and just watching it for its own sake.  Severity: 2

#390: Wedding Cake Ritual

I don't like that thing where the bride and groom feed each other the wedding cake and everyone gets all excited whether the person with get it all over the other's face.  It's dumb and played out.  Severity: 2

#389: Alternate New Years

I don't like when people say happy new year for new years other than the official secular calendar.  There is only 1 new year that matters in the practical world, and that is on January 1.  These Jewish and Chinese ones are not real and I always am confused when people talk about those ones, like maybe I was in a coma and lost track of time.  Severity: 1

#388: Fried Chicken Places Not Serving Buttermilk Biscuits

To me, this is the ultimate side to go with fried chicken and is my favorite.  I don't see why most of the small independent places never offer this.  KFC has one over of them in this department.  Severity: 2

#387: "Official" Days

Newsfeeds or people that giddily announce that it's National xxxx Day.  There is no novelty in this because there is no real authority and anyone can say anything, so it's getting very old.  Example today: National Rum Day.  It's like every PR person representing some product has to create one of these fake days or else they will lose face to their cohorts in the other industries.  Severity: 3
